Objects in Motion is an annual event within the Living Things Festival: two evenings of short animated films for mature audiences curated from international festivals and archives by UBCO professor Myron Campbell with a mission to promote works that are unconventional and unexpected. Expect a selection of films that push narrative boundaries in the medium of animation.
This year Objects in Motion is being live streamed. Jan 19 & 26 at 7pm. Each evening has a unique program of short films. Living Things Artistic Director and UBCO professor, Neil Cadger, will host Objects in Motion (with guests) from his COVID friendly studio space.

About Livings Things Festival:
The LIVING THINGS INTERNATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL fills a vital niche in the Okanagan Valley’s cultural fabric, featuring boundary pushing contemporary theatre, music, dance, animated films, visual art and multi-media performances from international artists at the height of their game. Since January 2017, LIVING THINGS has animated venues across Kelowna’s cultural district and on the UBCO campus. This year is obviously different. For 2021 we have a scaled-down version of the festival with outdoor public art at the Rotary Centre for the Arts, live-streamed animated films and a chamber opera (health advisories permitting) onstage at the Kelowna Community Theatre.
