Hello, fabulous community!

I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you all. As of January 1, 2025, I have taken on the role of General Manager at Friends of Dorothy Kelowna! This new chapter is filled with promise and excitement, and I am eager to bring my passion for community-building and event creation to this vibrant space.

For those who know me, you’ll understand how deeply committed I am to the 2SLGBTQ+ community and how much joy I find in orchestrating events that bring us all together. As the Executive Producer of Rebellious Unicorns, I want to assure you that all our planned events will not only continue but will also grow and flourish. We have some incredible experiences lined up that have been in the works for years, and I can't wait to see them come to life at Friends of Dorothy.

One of the highlights I’m particularly excited about is the return of QUSIC, our live music series that shines a spotlight on 2SLGBTQ+ musicians. Additionally, our networking series, which took a brief hiatus in 2024, will be making a comeback, offering even more opportunities for connection and collaboration.

As we embark on this new journey, I invite you all to join us for our 5th Anniversary celebration the weekend of January 17. We have an exciting entertainment schedule and a delicious food program lined up, and I can’t wait to welcome you back to Friends of Dorothy Kelowna.
