FruitCake: SOBER. The only good type of dry FruitCake!

[Kelowna, BC - September 17th, 2022] — Rebellious Unicorns and Third Space are pleased to present the first ever FruitCake: SOBER. Taking place on September 17th at Third Space Cafe, it’s all the party of FruitCake, without any of the booze. 

With fabulous slushies, drag performances from Dora Knob and Sophonda Dick and of course a DJ and dancing, it’s still very much a  FruitCake Party, just a sober one!

With the ever-growing awareness about the dangers of substance abuse, we at Rebellious Unicorns wanted to do something a little different, and offer a safe space for people to party without the added pressure of inebriation around them. As a bonus, a portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated right back to Third Space, so they can continue their mission of providing counseling for those who need it.

“Inclusivity is ingrained in the DNA of Rebellious Unicorns, which is why it was important for us to create a fun, party night, without the substances” shares Dustyn Baulkham, Executive Producer, “When our team reached out to Third Space Cafe they loved the idea and were on board right from the beginning. We are excited to be supporting Third Space Charity in the great work they do in the mental health space.”

FruitCake is a themed monthly 2SLGTBQ+ party series. Taking place in rotating locations across western Canada, we’ve grown from a dance party to a full evening experience.
