Indigenous & Proud 2024: A Celebration of Culture and Community - Rebellious Unicorns

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Kamloops & Oliver, BC – September 9, 2024 –

Rebellious Unicorns Production Company Inc. is excited to announce the 4th annual Indigenous & Proud, now expanded to two vibrant locations: Kamloops and Oliver. This year’s event promises to be the most spectacular yet, featuring a dazzling lineup of Indigenous talent, including four renowned performers from Canada’s Drag Race, alongside other incredible Indigenous drag artists. Including an exclusive interview segment by host Ella Lamoureux with each of the performers, providing a unique opportunity to learn more about the performers and their inspiring journeys.

As we approach the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30, Indigenous & Proud 2024 serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of honouring the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities. The event embraces the spirit of reconciliation by celebrating Indigenous culture and fostering a deeper understanding of the ongoing impacts of residential schools.
